Occupational Therapy Assistant: Imagine
the satisfaction you can achieve by assisting someone
in overcoming
a disability or preparing an injured worker for re-entry
into the workforce. Occupational Therapy helps various
individuals increase their level of independence as
well as their quality of life. This is done by teaching
the client new or adapted ways to perform everyday
activities such as dressing, eating or working. OTAs
work closely with an occupational therapist as well
as other members of the health profession to provide
quality treatment. OTAs work with people of all ages
in a variety of settings.
